Wired magazine recently had a story on Things That Suck, so I thought I would start my own:
Things That Suck
- People who politicize everything. You need a more productive hobby. I suggest stamp collecting.
- drivers on cell phones, or texting (a bad, bad thing)
- cookie-cutter suburbs
- raw tomatoes (I cannot fathom biting into a tomatoe.)
- weak coffee
- Uppity Dell computers
- Comcast cable - love my AT&T U-verse (when it works)
- Setting up HDTV - call Nasa, this is truly f*cking rocket science
- Getting laid off - but that can also be A Good Thing. I will never go back in the closet, deny who I am or compromise My Belief Structure for money. I promise.
Things that Rock (My Own Damn Favorite Things)
- Working out
- My husband (15 years and counting)
- My dog (neurotic but she has a lot of love to give)
- Ray Ban aviators
- my Honda CRV
- my iPhone -- when it works
- Whataburger -- exceptionally good at 2AM!
- Becks Prime
- good sushi
- grocery shopping at Fiesta (way too many normal people at Kroger - it scares me)
- The Palmer Episcopal Choir
- Lower Westheimer
- HDTV (when it works...I see a theme here)
- my family, my friends and you - my website visitors!
One other weird trait, is that I love to surf Wikipedia. The other day, I was thinking about how New York always gets blown up or destroyed in the movies. What about other cities? Can you help me add to these lists?
